This was shot towards those locally manufactured singing chippendales wanna-bes posing as boy bands. Man, I hate those guys. You could probably imagine what happened in the next panel.

This is the third and last of the redrawn strips, part of those three weeks I suffered a slump in the drawing department. The idea had potential, I just ran out of time doing it so I cheated by using the same images to tell the story.

* This strip was published June 1, 2005.

This is another redrawn strip with a completely different storyline from the original strip that came out also last year. The original had such a crappy storyline I can't salvage anything from it.

This is a redrawn version of an earlier strip I wasn't happy about that came out last year. The situation was based on the anticipated premiere showing of the Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith last year.

* This strip was published May 18, 2005.

This was supposed to be the second part of the Mother's Day strip that also delves a bit on some of the family history (you can read the 1st part here). The original drawing sorta came out crummy so I had to redraw some parts, yadda-yadda-yadda... The only thing that annoys me with this one is my inability to write some decent words that doesn't come off drippy or strained.

A little bit of trivia here, the lyrics posted in the strip was taken from the Irish lullaby, Toora Loora Looral, the same song the character of Steve Martin sang in front of his guests in his engagement party in the movie, HouseSitter. This will be expanded to a 2-3 page story that will come out in one of those indie compilations of this series. Hope y'all like it.

This one's for my late Lola, on whom this strip's grandmother character was patterned after. Miss you so much.

He got the job much earlier than this intended to show (around January or late December last year) and the original situation I had in mind was to show how he relates to other people in the workplace, how much of a jerk he can be. But in order for me to do that I had to make a proper introduction as to what office he's working in. And the kind of working environment a publishing office has will entail a lot of research on my part which I hope I'll be able to portray realistically warts and all.

* This strip was published April 27, 2005.
